Piers Morgan reveals why Prince Harry cut contact with Eugenie
Piers Morgan appeared to confirm reports that Prince Harry cut contact with his cousin, Princess Eugenie after she was snapped hanging out with him. The Duke of Sussex has been estranged from the Royal Family ever since he and Meghan Markle quit the Firm and moved to the US in 2020.
However, Harry remained close to the Princess of York despite his feud with the royals. The Sussexes's close relationship with Eugenie was even highlighted last year after it emerged that Harry and Meghan bought a new holiday home in Portugal, very close to the princess's home. But recently, reports claimed that the duke's relationship with his cousin "soured" after she was snapped having lunch with the broadcaster last April, who is an avid critic of Meghan and Harry.

A friend told The Sun: "A dim view was taken of this, as Piers has clashed with Meghan and Harry in the past.
"Eugenie has been supportive of Harry and Meghan for years and was right there at the beginning of their relationship — but it has now soured."
And Mr Morgan has now confirmed the claims on his Piers Morgan Uncensored programme and said the duke went "ballistic" over the incident.
He said in the show: "That [Harry cutting ties with Eugenie] was because of me.

"She was having lunch with me and a group of people in a pub in London.
"And I was seen hugging them goodbye and Harry saw this and went completely ballistic.
"I can confirm that is entirely true. Because he couldn't bear it."
The Duke of Sussex has been contacted for comment.
